A way to erase VMware Tools from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

VMware Tools is a program offered by the software company VMware, Inc.. Frequently, people try to remove this program. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find VMware Tools or simply activate the Search field and type in "VMware Tools". The VMware Tools application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click VMware Tools in the list of apps, the following data about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about VMware Tools, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove VMware Tools.

8. After removing VMware Tools, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong VMware Tools which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
