How to uninstall Unity from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Unity is a program released by Unity Technologies ApS. Some users try to remove this application. Sometimes this can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to remove Unity is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Unity or simply click the Search feature and type in "Unity". The Unity program will be found very quickly. After you select Unity in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Unity, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Unity.

8. After uninstalling Unity, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Unity which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
