After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

A way to uninstall WinZip using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinZip is an application released by WinZip Computing, S.L.. Some users try to erase this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find WinZip or simply click the Search feature and type in "WinZip". If it exists on your system the WinZip app will be found very quickly. When you click WinZip in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding WinZip, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove WinZip.


8. After removing WinZip, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong WinZip that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
