How to uninstall WinZip from your PC

How to erase WinZip with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinZip is a program by WinZip Computing, S.L.. Sometimes, users decide to remove it. This can be easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY manner to remove WinZip is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find WinZip or simply activate the Search field and type in "WinZip". If it is installed on your PC the WinZip program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select WinZip in the list of programs, some data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about WinZip, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall WinZip.


8. After uninstalling WinZip, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong WinZip which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling WinZip using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
