How to remove WinZip from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinZip is an application by the software company WinZip Computing, S.L.. Sometimes, computer users want to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK approach to remove WinZip is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find WinZip or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinZip". If it exists on your system the WinZip application will be found very quickly. After you select WinZip in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding WinZip, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove WinZip.


8. After removing WinZip, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong WinZip which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing WinZip using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
