A way to delete WinZip from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinZip is an application offered by WinZip Computing, S.L.. Frequently, computer users want to erase this application. This is efortful because doing this by hand takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase WinZip is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to clean your PC.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate WinZip or simply activate the Search feature and type in "WinZip". The WinZip application will be found automatically. After you select WinZip in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding WinZip, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for WinZip:

• The publisher is: HTTP://www.winzip.com/wzgate.cgi?lang=ES&url=www.winzip.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinZip\WINZIP32.EXE

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove WinZip.


8. After uninstalling WinZip, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of WinZip that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing WinZip with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.
