A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your system

This page contains complete information on how to remove OBS Studio for Windows. The Windows release was created by OBS Project. You can read more on OBS Project or check for application updates here. OBS Studio is usually set up in the C:\Program Files\OBS Studio\obs-studio directory, regulated by the user's decision. You can uninstall OBS Studio by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\OBS Studio\obs-studio\uninstall.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. obs64.exe is the OBS Studio's main executable file and it takes approximately 2.76 MB (2891224 bytes) on disk.

OBS Studio has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to erase OBS Studio with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application offered by OBS Project. Some people want to erase it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK procedure to erase OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find OBS Studio or simply activate the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". If it exists on your system the OBS Studio program will be found very quickly. When you select OBS Studio in the list , some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding OBS Studio, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove OBS Studio.


8. After removing OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong OBS Studio which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
