How to uninstall OBS Studio from your PC

This page is about OBS Studio for Windows. Below you can find details on how to uninstall it from your computer. It was developed for Windows by OBS Project. You can find out more on OBS Project or check for application updates here. OBS Studio is normally set up in the C:\Program Files\obs-studio folder, however this location may differ a lot depending on the user's decision when installing the program. The full command line for removing OBS Studio is C:\Program Files\obs-studio\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. obs64.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 2.78 MB (2918416 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove OBS Studio using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application marketed by the software company OBS Project. Some computer users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this is hard because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find OBS Studio or simply click the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". If it is installed on your PC the OBS Studio app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select OBS Studio in the list of applications, some information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about OBS Studio, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall OBS Studio.


8. After uninstalling OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong OBS Studio which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
