A guide to uninstall OBS Studio from your computer

A way to delete OBS Studio from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is a program by the software company OBS Project. Some computer users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE approach to uninstall OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find OBS Studio or simply activate the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". The OBS Studio app will be found very quickly. After you select OBS Studio in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about OBS Studio, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove OBS Studio.

8. After removing OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of OBS Studio which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling OBS Studio using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
