A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your computer

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\OBS Studio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OBS Studio

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\F:\Program Files\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\F:\Program Files\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe.FriendlyAppName

A way to delete OBS Studio from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application marketed by OBS Project. Some users try to erase this program. This is easier said than done because performing this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK way to erase OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate OBS Studio or simply click the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". If it is installed on your PC the OBS Studio app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click OBS Studio in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding OBS Studio, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove OBS Studio.


8. After removing OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of OBS Studio which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling OBS Studio using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
