A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your PC

After the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall OBS Studio:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\AppIconCache\150\{6D809377-6AF0-444B-8957-A3773F02200E}_obs-studio_bin_64bit_obs64_exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\OBS Studio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OBS Studio

A way to delete OBS Studio from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application by OBS Project. Sometimes, users try to uninstall it. This can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best EASY approach to uninstall OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find OBS Studio or simply activate the Search field and type in "OBS Studio". The OBS Studio application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click OBS Studio in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding OBS Studio, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove OBS Studio.


8. After removing OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong OBS Studio which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
