A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your computer

OBS Studio has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders remaining:

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\OBS Studio
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OBS Studio

A way to remove OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application offered by OBS Project. Some people try to erase it. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate OBS Studio or simply click the Search field and type in "OBS Studio". If it exists on your system the OBS Studio app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select OBS Studio in the list of programs, some information about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about OBS Studio, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove OBS Studio.


8. After uninstalling OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong OBS Studio which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
