How to uninstall OBS Studio from your computer

This page is about OBS Studio for Windows. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. obs64.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 4.46 MB (4671816 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application by the software company OBS Project. Some users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because removing this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate OBS Studio or simply activate the Search field and type in "OBS Studio". If it is installed on your PC the OBS Studio program will be found automatically. After you select OBS Studio in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about OBS Studio, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall OBS Studio.


8. After uninstalling OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of OBS Studio that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
