A way to uninstall OBS Studio from your computer

You can find below detailed information on how to remove OBS Studio for Windows. It is written by OBS Project. Open here for more information on OBS Project. The program is often located in the C:\Program Files\obs-studio folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing OBS Studio is C:\Program Files\obs-studio\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. obs64.exe is the programs's main file and it takes around 3.10 MB (3247632 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are shown below.

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

A way to delete OBS Studio from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

OBS Studio is an application released by OBS Project. Frequently, computer users decide to erase this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this by hand takes some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY way to erase OBS Studio is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find OBS Studio or simply activate the Search feature and type in "OBS Studio". If it is installed on your PC the OBS Studio app will be found automatically. After you select OBS Studio in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding OBS Studio, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall OBS Studio.


8. After uninstalling OBS Studio, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of OBS Studio which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling OBS Studio with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
