Quite a few files, folders and registry entries can not be uninstalled when you are trying to remove DFX from your computer.

A way to delete DFX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DFX is a program offered by Power Technology. Sometimes, people decide to erase this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding DFX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for DFX:

• The publisher is: http://www.fxsound.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\DFX\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall DFX.


8. After removing DFX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of DFX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing DFX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
