How to uninstall Tribler from your computer

Tribler is a Windows application. A way to uninstall Tribler from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is an application marketed by The Tribler Team. Some people want to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best EASY action to remove Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Tribler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Tribler". The Tribler application will be found very quickly. After you click Tribler in the list , some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Tribler:

• The software company is: http://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Tribler.


8. After removing Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Tribler that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Tribler with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
