How to uninstall Tribler from your PC

Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might be prompted for admin rights. tribler.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 10.79 MB (11313656 bytes) on disk.

How to erase Tribler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is an application by the software company The Tribler Team. Sometimes, users try to remove this application. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your system.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Tribler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Tribler". If it is installed on your PC the Tribler application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Tribler in the list , some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Tribler:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Tribler.


8. After removing Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Tribler which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
