How to uninstall Tribler from your computer

Tribler is a Windows program. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Tribler's main file takes about 84.47 KB (86496 bytes) and is named tribler.exe.

How to uninstall Tribler from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is a program by The Tribler Team. Some computer users try to remove it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY action to remove Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Tribler or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Tribler". If it exists on your system the Tribler app will be found very quickly. When you click Tribler in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tribler:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Tribler.


8. After removing Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Tribler that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Tribler with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
