A guide to uninstall Tribler from your computer

How to erase Tribler with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is a program marketed by The Tribler Team. Some users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY action to remove Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Tribler or simply click the Search field and type in "Tribler". If it is installed on your PC the Tribler program will be found automatically. After you click Tribler in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Tribler, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tribler:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Tribler.


8. After uninstalling Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Tribler which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Tribler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
