A guide to uninstall Tribler from your system

A way to erase Tribler from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tribler is an application by The Tribler Team. Some users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this can be troublesome because doing this by hand takes some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY way to uninstall Tribler is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Tribler or simply click the Search feature and type in "Tribler". If it is installed on your PC the Tribler app will be found very quickly. When you click Tribler in the list of apps, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Tribler, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Tribler:

• The publisher is: https://www.tribler.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Tribler\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Tribler.


8. After uninstalling Tribler, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Tribler that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Tribler using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
