If you are manually uninstalling SoundMAX we suggest you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall SoundMAX:

• C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX\SoundTray.exe
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX\SMax.log

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find SoundMAX or simply activate the Search feature and type in "SoundMAX". The SoundMAX app will be found automatically. When you select SoundMAX in the list , the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding SoundMAX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SoundMAX.


8. After removing SoundMAX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SoundMAX which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SoundMAX using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
