How to remove SoundMAX from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SoundMAX is an application offered by Analog Devices. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK manner to uninstall SoundMAX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate SoundMAX or simply click the Search field and type in "SoundMAX". If it is installed on your PC the SoundMAX program will be found very quickly. After you select SoundMAX in the list of applications, the following information about the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about SoundMAX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SoundMAX.

8. After removing SoundMAX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of SoundMAX which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SoundMAX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
