How to uninstall SoundMAX from your computer

SoundMAX is a software application. This page contains details on how to uninstall it from your computer. It is produced by Analog Devices. You can read more on Analog Devices or check for application updates here. The program is usually found in the C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\SoundMAX folder (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall SoundMAX by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line RunDll32. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. SMHelp.exe is the SoundMAX's main executable file and it occupies approximately 28.00 KB (28672 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall SoundMAX from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SoundMAX is an application offered by Analog Devices. Some computer users choose to erase this application. This can be efortful because deleting this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase SoundMAX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find SoundMAX or simply click the Search field and type in "SoundMAX". If it is installed on your PC the SoundMAX application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click SoundMAX in the list , the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding SoundMAX, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove SoundMAX.


8. After uninstalling SoundMAX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of SoundMAX which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling SoundMAX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
