How to uninstall Slack from your system

Slack is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Slack Technologies. Additional info about Slack Technologies can be found here. The application is often placed in the C:\Users\thanh_000\AppData\Local\slack folder. Keep in mind that this path can vary depending on the user's decision. You can uninstall Slack by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\thanh_000\AppData\Local\slack\Update.exe --uninstall. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Slack's primary file takes around 1.44 MB (1514784 bytes) and is named squirrel.exe.

How to erase Slack from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Slack is an application marketed by Slack Technologies. Some computer users choose to erase it.   • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Slack or simply activate the Search field and type in "Slack". The Slack program will be found automatically. After you click Slack in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Slack, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Slack.

All the items that belong Slack that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
