How to uninstall Slack from your PC

Slack is a Windows program. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. It was created for Windows by Slack Technologies. You can read more on Slack Technologies or check for application updates here. The program is often placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack folder. Take into account that this path can differ depending on the user's decision. You can remove Slack by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\Update.exe. Note that you might be prompted for admin rights. The program's main executable file is labeled slack.exe and occupies 306.02 KB (313360 bytes).

How to uninstall Slack from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Slack or simply activate the Search field and type in "Slack". If it exists on your system the Slack program will be found automatically. When you select Slack in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Slack, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Slack.

8. After uninstalling Slack, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Slack which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
