A guide to uninstall Slack from your PC

You can find below detailed information on how to uninstall Slack for Windows. The Windows version was created by Slack Technologies. More information on Slack Technologies can be found here. The program is usually placed in the C:\Users\UserName.h\AppData\Local\slack directory. Keep in mind that this location can vary being determined by the user's preference. The full command line for removing Slack is C:\Users\UserName.h\AppData\Local\slack\Update.exe --uninstall. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 1.51 MB (1584656 bytes) on disk and is labeled squirrel.exe.

A way to erase Slack from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Slack is an application by the software company Slack Technologies. Some people choose to erase it. 3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Slack or simply click the Search feature and type in "Slack". If it is installed on your PC the Slack app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Slack in the list of apps, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Slack, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Slack.

8. After uninstalling Slack, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Slack which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Slack with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
