A guide to uninstall Slack from your system

You can find on this page details on how to remove Slack for Windows. It is written by Slack Technologies. Additional info about Slack Technologies can be found here. Usually the Slack program is placed in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack directory, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for removing Slack is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\Update.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. slack.exe is the Slack's primary executable file and it takes circa 291.02 KB (298000 bytes) on disk.

How to delete Slack with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Slack is an application marketed by Slack Technologies. Sometimes, people decide to remove it. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Slack or simply activate the Search field and type in "Slack". The Slack app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Slack in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Slack, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Slack.
