How to uninstall Slack from your system

You can find on this page details on how to uninstall Slack for Windows. It was created for Windows by Slack Technologies. You can find out more on Slack Technologies or check for application updates here. Usually the Slack program is to be found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack directory, depending on the user's option during setup. You can remove Slack by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\slack\Update.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. slack.exe is the Slack's main executable file and it takes about 281.52 KB (288272 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall Slack using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Slack is a program by the software company Slack Technologies. Some users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK manner to remove Slack is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Slack or simply click the Search field and type in "Slack". If it exists on your system the Slack application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Slack in the list , some information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Slack, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Slack.
