Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Some of these are listed below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Skype:

Frequently the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following registry values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\E:\Setup\Skype.v8.72.0.94\Skype.v8.72.0.94.exe

A way to uninstall Skype from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Skype or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Skype". If it exists on your system the Skype application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Skype in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Skype, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Skype.


8. After uninstalling Skype, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Skype which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Skype with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
