A way to uninstall Skype from your computer

Skype is a Windows application. A way to erase Skype from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Skype is a program marketed by the software company Skype Technologies S.A.. Some people decide to uninstall this application.   • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Skype or simply activate the Search field and type in "Skype". If it is installed on your PC the Skype program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Skype in the list of applications, the following information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Skype, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Skype.

8. After removing Skype, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Skype which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Skype using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
