How to delete Skype using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Skype is an application offered by the software company Skype Technologies S.A.. Some people choose to uninstall this application. This can be hard because removing this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY way to uninstall Skype is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Skype or simply click the Search field and type in "Skype". If it is installed on your PC the Skype program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Skype in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Skype, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Skype.


8. After removing Skype, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Skype which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Skype with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
