A way to delete Skype from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Skype is an application released by Skype Technologies S.A.. Sometimes, users choose to remove this program. This is efortful because deleting this by hand takes some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE procedure to remove Skype is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. 3. Click on the General Tools button

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Skype or simply click the Search field and type in "Skype". If it is installed on your PC the Skype app will be found very quickly. When you click Skype in the list of apps, some information about the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Skype, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Skype.

8. After removing Skype, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Skype which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
