A way to remove Origin from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Origin is an application marketed by the software company Electronic Arts, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually takes some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best QUICK approach to uninstall Origin is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Origin or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Origin". The Origin app will be found automatically. When you click Origin in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Origin, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Origin:

• The software company is: http://www.ea.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\OriginUninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Origin.


8. After uninstalling Origin, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Origin which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Origin using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
