How to uninstall Origin from your PC

A way to erase Origin with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Origin is a program by Electronic Arts, Inc.. Frequently, users want to remove it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best EASY way to remove Origin is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Origin or simply activate the Search field and type in "Origin". The Origin program will be found automatically. After you select Origin in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Origin, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Origin:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.ea.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Origin\OriginUninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Origin.


8. After uninstalling Origin, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Origin that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Origin with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
