How to remove Lantern from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is a program by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Frequently, people choose to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because removing this manually takes some know-how regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY manner to uninstall Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Lantern or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Lantern". If it is installed on your PC the Lantern program will be found very quickly. After you select Lantern in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The software company is: http://lantern.io
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Lantern which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
