A way to uninstall Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is a program marketed by Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Some users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Lantern or simply click the Search feature and type in "Lantern". If it exists on your system the Lantern app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Lantern in the list , some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Lantern:

• The software company is: http://lantern.io
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Lantern.


8. After uninstalling Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Lantern that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
