A way to erase Lantern from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application offered by the software company Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to erase this program. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Lantern or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Lantern". The Lantern program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Lantern in the list of programs, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Lantern, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Lantern:

• The publisher is: http://lantern.io
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Lantern which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Lantern using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
