How to uninstall Lantern from your PC

Lantern is a Windows program. A way to uninstall Lantern from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application released by the software company Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Some users decide to remove this application. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Lantern or simply click the Search field and type in "Lantern". The Lantern app will be found very quickly. After you select Lantern in the list , the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Lantern, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Lantern:

• The software company is: http://www.getlantern.org
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Lantern.


8. After uninstalling Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Lantern which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
