A way to uninstall Lantern from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Lantern is an application offered by the software company Brave New Software Project, Inc.. Sometimes, users choose to erase this application. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE manner to erase Lantern is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Lantern or simply click the Search field and type in "Lantern". If it is installed on your PC the Lantern app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Lantern in the list of apps, the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Lantern, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Lantern:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lantern\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Lantern.


8. After removing Lantern, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Lantern that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Lantern with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
