How to erase BOINC from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program released by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, people want to remove this program. This can be hard because deleting this by hand requires some skill related to PCs. The best SIMPLE manner to remove BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate BOINC or simply click the Search feature and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC app will be found automatically. When you select BOINC in the list , the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall BOINC.

8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of BOINC that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
