How to remove BOINC from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Some computer users want to uninstall it. This is hard because performing this manually requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY manner to uninstall BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply click the Search feature and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click BOINC in the list , some data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove BOINC.


8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
