Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove BOINC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall BOINC from your PC:

A way to erase BOINC from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is an application released by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, people choose to erase this program. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find BOINC or simply click the Search field and type in "BOINC". The BOINC application will be found automatically. Notice that after you select BOINC in the list of apps, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall BOINC.


8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
