How to uninstall BOINC from your PC

How to uninstall BOINC from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is an application by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find BOINC or simply click the Search feature and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select BOINC in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
