How to uninstall BOINC from your computer

A way to remove BOINC from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program marketed by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Frequently, people decide to erase this program. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC application will be found very quickly. When you select BOINC in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall BOINC.

8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
