A way to uninstall BOINC from your PC

A way to delete BOINC from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program marketed by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, people choose to remove it. This can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY approach to remove BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search field and type in "BOINC". If it is installed on your PC the BOINC application will be found very quickly. When you click BOINC in the list , some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
