How to uninstall BOINC from your computer

A way to erase BOINC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program released by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, computer users try to erase this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best EASY way to erase BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search field and type in "BOINC". If it is installed on your PC the BOINC program will be found automatically. When you select BOINC in the list , some data about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
