How to uninstall AVG from your system

AVG is a Windows program. 5. All the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply click the Search field and type in "AVG". The AVG program will be found very quickly. When you click AVG in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AVG.

8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
