A way to uninstall AVG from your system

How to remove AVG from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is a program marketed by the software company AVG Technologies. Frequently, computer users choose to uninstall it. This is difficult because removing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY approach to uninstall AVG is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it is installed on your PC the AVG app will be found automatically. After you click AVG in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AVG.

8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
