AVG is a program offered by the software company AVG Technologies. Some users try to remove this program. 3. Press the General Tools button

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AVG or simply activate the Search feature and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select AVG in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove AVG.

8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong AVG that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
