How to uninstall AVG from your PC

How to delete AVG from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AVG is an application by AVG Technologies. Frequently, users want to erase this program.   • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AVG or simply activate the Search field and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG program will be found very quickly. When you select AVG in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding AVG, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall AVG.

8. After removing AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of AVG that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
